Flowers for the Dead

Graveyards contain a lot more love than people think. Too many spooky books and horror films have confused all of us. So trust me on this one… a visit to any graveyard gives you room to think and, there’s always a reward. 

I visited Zorgvlied Begraafplaats on a sunny, frozen morning and noticed the flowers an hour into my visit. Were people trying to say “Hello” I wondered, or were they saying “Goodbye” once again?
